NWOKOCHA, Prof Udo

Prof. Udo Nwokocha is a Nigerian from Abia State, South East Nigeria. He obtained a Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) from Abia State University, a Master of Library Science (MLS) from the University of Ibadan and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Nigeria. He began his working life as Corps Librarian with David Folayin Memorial Library, Iludun-Oro, Kwara State 1987-1988. On completion of the service year, Prof. Udo Nwokochawas automatically employed as a Graduate Assistant at Abia State University, having emerged as the best graduating student in the Department of Library and Information Science 1987. Prof. Udo Nwokochahas served as Head of Departments of Library and Information Science and Mass Communication,Dean of Student Affairs, a two time member of Abia State University Governing Council and presently theUniversity Librarian, Abia State University
