was born on November 10, 1940 at Diube, Okigwe in Isiukwuato/Okigwe Local Government Area; He received his education at the Methodist Central School, Ihube, 1947-54; Ezzamgbo T.T.C. 1960-61 and Government T.T.C. Uyo, 1963-64 for the Teachers' Grade 11 Certificate; He spent many years in the teaching profession and became a private businessman immediately after the Nigerian civil war; Mr Okoro is a registered building contractor; He is married and has children; He believes that true greatness can only be achieved through hardwork.
