ONYEGBULA, GODWIN ALAOMA

Ambassador Godwin Alaoma Onyegbula an elected member, represents Nkwerre/Amaigbo Federal Constituency, Imo State. He was born in Nkwerre, Imo State on June 15, 1930. He attended University College, Ibadan, 1950—55, where he obtained B.A. (Hons) in History and Ballfol College, Oxford 1957-58 for a degree in public administration. Ambassador Onyegbula is a retired Am bassador and Permanent Secretary and is presently a company director. He started his civil service career as a District Officer in 1955 before transferring as a pioneer foreign service officer in 1959. He was also a member of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka Governing Coun cil. He is married with nine children. His hobbies are reading and travelling.
