Mr. Garba Shu'aibu, an elected member, represents Kumbotso Federal Constituency in Kano State. He was born on January 1, 1954 in Kumbotso, Kano State. He attended Kumbotso Primary School from 1962 to 1966 and Gwarzo Boarding Primary School from 1967 to 1969. From 1970 to 1974, he attended Teachers' College, Bichi. He was at Advanced Teachers' College, Kano (1975-1978) and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, (1980-1983). He is a civil servant and farmer. Mr Shu'aibu has served as the Secretary of the Financial Allocation Committee, Budget Implementation Committee and Audit Query Committee of the Kano State Government. He is married with five children. His hobbies are hunting, football and hockey.
