SIRAJO, Sidi Ali

Alhaji Sidi Ali Sirajo, a nominated member, was born on November 30, 1944. He hails from Kano in Kano State. He attended Earl James Academy, Institute of Labour, Accra; Institute of Journalism, Lagos and Institute of Political Science (African Affairs and Philosophy), Ghana. He is a journalist, media analyst and author. Alhaji Sirajo was the President, Nigerian Union of Journalists, 1975—78, Acting Director, News and Current Affairs NTA, 1976-78 and Managing-Director of Triumph Newspapers from 1983 to 1984. He is currently a board member of NTA, Editor-in-Chief the Editorial Director of Spectator and Editorial Director of Hotline papers. He is married with five children. His hobbies are reading, table tennis and nature watching.
