Mr. Umar Ali Bindawa was born on March 13, 1959 in Bindawa, Katsina State. He is an elected member of the Constituent Assembly representing Bindawa Federal Constituency. Mr. Bindawa had Primary Education from 1965 to 1971. He attended Rimi College, Kaduna from 1971 to 1976, where he obtained the School Certificate. He later attended Kat sina College of Arts, Science and Technology from 1976—1978 and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he obtained B.A. (Hons.), 1981 in Political Science/History. He later obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from the same University in 1987. Mr. Bindawa is a civil servant and married. He likes reading, travelling and playing badminten
