Honourable Alhaji Abba Ali is a member of the Great Nigeria Peoples Party and represents Bama Federal Constituency, Borno State in the House of Representatives. Hon. Ali was born in 1941 at Gurnsu Malammaja, Borno State. He attended Bama Elementary School from 1950 - 1954; the Borno Middle School (1955 —58) and Bokiri Training Centre in 1962. Before being self-employed in 1975, Hon. Abba has worked as a court scribe with the Borno Local Authority. He is married to Hajiya lya and Hajiya Naira Galadima. He has five children. Honourable Abba loves hunting and football and has visited Tchad, Cameroun, Saudi Arabia, Niger and Republic of Benin.
