Prosper was one of those children in the post war Bialran enclave who. despite the hindrances of the gruesome war, pressed on to the mark. Today, he is an Icon of light whose life is bolh a challenge and an encouragement. I lis parents motivated and encouraged him a lot and he owes them a debt of gratitude for their inspiration and motivation. He therefore determined early in life to be a physician who would return to Nigeria, according to his American benefactor, "to build a hospital in memory of his parents Mr Moses and Mrs Margaret Igboeli". It was stated thai his father was an Army General during the Bialran War and was executed at the end of it when the war was lost. This profoundly affected the young Prosper.
