(NPP) was born on November 2, 1937 at Ugiri in Mbano Local Government Area. He hails from Umuneke Ugiri. He received his education at St. Michael's School, Ugiri and Holy Trinity School, Orlu. He holds a dip loma in marketing and pubUc rela tions; and Teachers' Grade II Certi ficate of Harden CoUege of Education, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Voca tion SChool in 1962. Mr. Ike was supervisor of sales, J. Allen Motors, Lagos, 1963-66; area manager, Palmolive Nigerian Limited, 1970-75; mana ging director, (Sales) INOK Enterprises, 1975-79. He is married and has child ren. His philosophy is "Love for one another.
