Mr. Iliya, Bello Damagum was born on May 14, 1956 in his home town, Damagum, Borno He represents Fune Federal Constituency of Borno State in the Assembly. He started his primary eduction in 1962 at Damagum Primary School. Between 1971 and 1975, he attended Government Secondary School, Geidam and Ahmadu Secondary School, Kano before going for his Higher School Certificate course at the North-East College of Arts &• Science, Maiduguri, 1975-1979. He attended Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria, 1977—1980 and Birmingham University, Birm ingham, 1982—1983 for a post graduate course. He is the Line Manager with the Nigerian National Shipping Line, Lagos. He is married with four children and enjoys travelling and badminton. State
