Professor Shehu Musa Alhaji. obtained his B.Sc. in General Agriculture from Usman Danfodio University (UDU), Sokoto, M.Sc in Agricultural Economics from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi and his PhD in Agricultural Economics in a join programme between ATBU and Purdue University in the United States of America (USA). He has numerous publications at national and international level. The Vice Chancellor was the immediate past Rector of Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Dambatta before being appointed by the University Council and retified by the Visitor of the University in 2014.
Professor Shehu Musa Alhaji is the youngest among all the Vice Chancellors that served the University. He is agile with full of energy and has achieved a lot in transforming the University in terms of capital and human development.
