Date of Birth: November, 1958 State of Origin: Ebonyi Local Government Area: Ohankwu. Hon Mrs Patience U. Ogodo is a teacher and mentor of many people. Her role as a motivator, director, protector and defender of the interest of the oppressed is played either when she is in the class room teaching, at home looking after her children and husband, or in the State House of Assembly in Abakaliki.

Board of Directors, Presidential Hotel Enugu • Elected Hon Member Federal House of Assembly representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency 2003 Contributions to Community Development • Prudent Management of Resources- material and human when she was Chairman of the Local Government. • Built up the area into a living place - provided amenities that enhanced people's lives. • Contributed a lot to the rebuilding the income base of Presidential Hotel. • Encouraged Women education in the state and in the Local Government Area as the chairman. • The Constituency has experienced a lot of progress in terms of Women empowerment. • Created more job opportunities and Equal opportunities for all irrespective of gender or class. • A capacity Builder • Some infra structures have been attracted in the area since her election into the National Assembly. • The Women have had a turn around in their fortune. • A reasonable and dynamic contributor to the Debates at the National Assembly. Hon Ogodo is happily married and blessed with five children. She has remained consistent in her crusade for Women Empowerment.
