C.F.R.; born on August 23, 1923 at Auchi/ Oji River Local Government area of Anambra State; Education: attended Saint Mary's Catholic School, Auchi; Saint Charles Teacher Training College, Onitsha; Qualification: Higher Elementary Teacher Certificate; Senior Teacher's Certificate; Married with many children. Elected NPP Senator for Anambra Central Constituency; A former member of the House of Assembly 1952-53; Member Eastern House of Assembly 1953-66; Author of 'Before the Darkness Falls;''Facing The Uncertain Future;' 'Pan African Socialism' and 'Eastern Nigerian Economic Possibilities.' He was honoured with an award of C.F.R. in 1965.
