Special Assistant to the President (National Assembly Liaison, was bron in Creek Town, Calabar on August 26, 1946. He attended the Methodist College, Uzuakoli from 1960-66; the Federal School of Science, Lagos in 1968; and the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria from 1969-1974 where he obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) degree and the M.Sc. degreein Urban and Regional Plann ing. He became a member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planning in 1976. He was also an active stu dents' union leader. Mr. Archibong Omon taught in 1967 and worked as a clerkwith the Nigerian Port Autho rity in 1968. He worked with Max Lock Town Planning Consultancy as a Town Planner with specialisation in traffic and city centre designin 1974. He also worked as a Town Planner with the Cross River State Government. He is married as has two children.
