His father has twenty children while he is his mother&#8217;s only child. Hon. Bello attended the Hamawa Primary School, Yola from 1964 &#8211; 1969. After obtain ing the West African School Certificate in General Murtala College, Yola, in 1974, he pro ceeded to the College of Preliminary Studies and passed the Higher School Certificate Examination in 1979. He worked as Publicity Assistant in Ministry of Information, Gongola State between 1975 and 1976. Hon. Bello married former Miss Maimunatu Mohammed in 1978 and they have a child. He has visited Bulgaria, Britain, USA, Canada, Japan, Chad, Cameroun and Niger among others. Hon. Bello, an NPN member represents Furfore Constituency, Gongola State.
