He started his early education at St. Stephens School, Modakeke (1945 &#8211; 1952), Divisional Teacher Training College, Ife, (1955 &#8211; 1956), Ondo\/Oyo Joint Provincial College, Ife (1960 &#8211; 1961); and the University of Ife from 1972- 1973). He obtained his Grade Three Teacher s Cer tificate in 1956, Grade Two Teachers&#8217; Cer tificate in 1961, andthe Associate Diploma in Educationin 1973. Honourable Olarewaju worked in various capacities as Teacher class &#8216;C in 1953, Head master Class Three in 1968, Headmaster Class Two in 1974, Chairman, Teachers&#8217; Resource Centre (1977 &#8211; 1979); member of the Juvenile Court, 1978, Chairman, Board of Governors of D.T.T.C, Ife and Councillor Ife District and Divisional Council 1961 &#8211; 1963. He was also the treasurer and Peoples&#8217; Warden of St. Stephens Church, Modakeke 1977to-date. Honourable Olarewaju is married to Rebecca Ereola andthey havefivechildren. He has wr\/tten four articles on social studies for the TeaVhers Resource Centre. His hobbies are table tennis and music.
