He was educated at. the Birishiwa Primary School between 1955 and 1959 and at the KBS between 1966 and 1969. He underwent pastor&#8217;s course between 1977 and 1979. By profession, he is an evangelist and farmer. He got married in 1960 to former Miss Ndzarwa Zira and they have five children.
