In 1957, he obtained a Teachers' Grade III Certificate from St. Mathew's College, Ijebu-Ode, and the teacher's Grade II Certificate from St. Andrew's College, Oyo in 1962. In 1964 he attended the Technical College, Ibadan for an Ohio University USAID Commercial Education Programme. Honourable Ogunfuyi attended the British Council Organised English Language teachers' course and was awarded an English Language Teachers Certificate in 1971. Honourable Ogunfuyi was a Class III Head master in April, 1968 and was promoted to a Class II headmaster in April 1976. He retired voluntarily from teaching after 23 years of ser vice to contest the Local Government Elections in December 1976. He also worked with T.CAS Inc. as Administrative Assistant till March 1978 when he registered as a contractor in June of the same year. Honourable Ogunfuyi is married to Beatrice Helen and Wosilat and they have many children. T His hobbies include farming, photography and reading. ' His father, Mr. Isaac Ogunfuyi, afarmer from Hus.n, has ten children ana he is the eldest His mother, Sabainah Ufekeiwo also from llusin is a trader and she has six children.
