Sani Dandare"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hon. Sani Dandare Kalgo was born in 1948 at Bunza-Kalgo local government area of Sokoto State. He attended the junior primary school at Kalgo from 1957 \u2014 1960. From there, he went to the Middle School, Birnin-Kebbi from 1961 &#8211; 1963. Between 1964 and 1968 he was at the Sokoto Teachers&#8217; College where he qualified as a Grade II teacher. Hon. Sani Kalgo also went to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1976 to study the modern method of teaching young children and obtained a certificate in this field. He was a headmaster in 1972 and became Headmaster Grade II from 1973 \u2014 76. He was chairman of the Nigerian Union of Teachers for Jega and Gwandu, Hon. Sani Kalgo got mar ried in 1969 and has been blessed with four children. His father, M. Dandare Bunza is an Area Court Judge. Hon. Sani is a sports enthusiast. He attended many sports festivals at State and National levels. He was a sports&#8217; coach in 1963, and served as staff&#8221; officer to the Sokoto State Sports Council from 1977 \u2014 1979. Hon Kalgo was the co-ordinator of the Sokoto State Sports Festival in 1977. He is also a hockey player and a keen footballer. Hon. Sani Kalgo is a moslem.
