He was born on August 28, 1943 in Ota, Ogun State but Ogbomosho is his home town. He attended Baptist Boys&#8217; High School, Abeokuta, 1954\u201458, Government Teachers&#8217; College, Tamale, Ghana, 1968-1970 and University of Ibadan, 1980\u201483, where he obtained B.Ed. (Hons) in adult education\/religious studies. Mr. Oyeleye is a teacher. He was an Assistant Superintendent of School, Tamale District Education Office, Ghana and currently Head of Department of Arts, Ogbomoso Grammar School, Ogbomoso.
