He was educated at the Ohafia Central School, Ohafia; Government CoUege, Umuahia; School ofPharmacy, Yaba, Lagos. He holds the diploma in pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist at the University CoUege Hospital. He worked as a pharmacist at the Univer sity CoUege Hospital, Ibadan, 1955-60; manager, Standard City Chemists, 1960-70. He is manager and director of Drug House Nigeria Limited, Aba. Elder Udo Igwe is an Elder of the Pres byterian Church of Nigeria. He is mar ried and has six children.
