He was born on May 13, 1936 in his home town, Inuagu-Ohaji in Imo State. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Bankers (AIB). He retired as Area Manager for Eastern States, NAL Merchant Bank Limited before going into farming. Mr. Ihueze is the President, Rotary Club of Owerri; Chairman, Imo State Farmers&#8217; Organisation and also the Patron, Nigerian Red Cross, Imo State branch.
