He hails from Gashish in Plateau State and was born in 1946. Dr. Madugu attended St. Peter&#8217;s College Kaduna, between 1960 and 1967. After leaving St. Peter&#8217;s College, Kaduna, he went to the Advanced Teachers&#8217; College, Zaria in 1973. He later gained admission to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and graduated in 1976. He obtained a master&#8217;s degree from the University of Jos in 1980. Between 1982 and 1984, Dr. Madugu was at the University of Wales, England where he obtained a Doctorate Degree. is the current Provost of the College of Education, Akwanga and was a one-time Secretary of the Plateau State Scholarship Board between 1984 and 1986.
