(Pure Science). Univer sity of London, taught English, Mathe matics and Scienceat Wesley College, Ibadan, 1937-39, 1944-47 and Metho dist Boys High School, Lagos, 1948-50. Studied Law at I ondon School of Economics and Political Science, and Lincoln&#8217;s Inns, London, 1951-53; gra duated LL.B. in 1953 and called to English Bar 1956; practised law 195759; joined Western Nigeriacivil service as Administrative Officer, 1959-73; and retired as Deputy Permanent Se cretary, 1973.
