He obtained the Teachers&#8217; Grade II Certificate in 1968, NCE in 1972, and Bachelor of Education in 1975 from Ahmadu Bello University, Kano Campus. In 1979, Dr. Junaidu obtained Master&#8217;s Degree in Arabic Studies from the University of Khartoum, Sudan and in 1985, he got a Ph.D. from the University of London. He is an elected member of the Assembly representing Sokoto Central Federal Constituency. He is a lecturer at the Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto and is married with eight children.
