He was educated at St. Joseph&#8217;s Catholic School, Ihitte, C.I.C. Enugu; Mount St. Mary&#8217;s CoUege, Azaraegbelu. He was a schoolmaster for 16 years before becoming the representative of the University Education Press, Edinburgh for three years. He was also a research officer &#8220;Innovation in Rural Societies&#8221; for two years; West African represent ative for Henry M. Snyder Publishing Company (5 years); Chairman, Medical and Health Committee in the former Etiti County Council (2 years); Chair man, Ihitte Community Council, (6 years).
