He attended LA school, Apapa Lagos in 1975 and proceeded to Stella Maris College, PH in 1980 where he obtained his WASC. Nwogu leter graduated with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Marketing from the University of Port Harcourt and later procured a master&#8217;s degree in Business Administration from the institution.<br \/>\nHe served as Mayor (chairman) of Eleme local government area in Rivers State. He was elected to the House of Representatives from 1999 until 2011 under People&#8217;s Democratic Party. He represented the constituency of Tai\u2013Eleme\u2013Oyigbo.<br \/>\nNwogu has also ventured into business.
