He attended St. Charles&#8217; Teachers Train ing College, Onitsha. He tolds the LL.B. degree of the University of London. A veteran politician,he was a member of the Eastern House of Assembly from 1952 &#8211; 1954, and a member of the House of representa tives from 1954 until January 15, 1966. He was Parliamentary Secre tary, Federal Ministry of Education from 1955 &#8211; 1964 and Minister of State in the Ministry of Aviation from 1965 &#8211; 1966. He was also the Chairman, Federal Scholarship Adviory Board (1960-1964).
