He obtained a Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) from Abia State University, a Master of Library Science (MLS) from the University of Ibadan and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Nigeria.<br \/>\nHe began his working life as Corps Librarian with David Folayin Memorial Library, Iludun-Oro, Kwara State 1987-1988.
