Prof Oshita is a distinguished Ambassador for Peace of the UN POLAC Peace Programme. He is a trainer and facilitator, and has published Locally and Internationally. As Director-General of Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), he effectively involved the institute in programming around violence-free 2015 general elections and related activities before, during and after the elections in Nigeria. He also worked with the National Peace Committee for 2015 general elections.
