{"id":21692,"date":"2017-09-11T13:58:11","date_gmt":"2017-09-11T12:58:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blerf.org\/?post_type=biography&#038;p=21692"},"modified":"2020-08-12T10:58:59","modified_gmt":"2020-08-12T09:58:59","slug":"okoro-john-inyang","status":"publish","type":"biography","link":"https:\/\/blerf.org\/index.php\/biography\/okoro-john-inyang\/","title":{"rendered":"OKORO, John Inyang"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>John Inyang Okoro (born July 7, 1959) is a Nigerian jurist and Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.[1] His appointment as justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria was confirmed by the Senate on October 2013.[2] He was sworn in on November 15, 2014 by Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar, the former Chief Justice of Nigeria.[3] He was arrested by the department of state security services (DSS), on 8 October 2016 on allegations of bribery and corruption.
