She earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt and a master&#8217;s degree from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology. is a Nigerian economist, retired banker, educationist and politician. In the 2007 general elections, she was elected to the Nigerian House of Representatives as a candidate of the People&#8217;s Democratic Party (PDP) in the federal constituency of Abua\u2014Odual\u2014Ahoada East. She was subsequently re-elected in the 2011 and 2015 general elections.[1] In the 2019 general elections, she was elected to the Nigerian Senate as a candidate of the People&#8217;s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Rivers West Senatorial District.
