John Dara is a man of multiple heritage, a Christian Yoruba man from the Middle Belt of Northern Nigeria, he proudly wears his identity as a patriotic, detribalized, friendly and nationalistic Nigerian. His rich cultural background and heritage have made it easy for him to understand the pluralistic nature of Nigeria. John Dara is an enthusiastic bridge builder, always initiating schemes to build solidarity among people groups, and indeed eager to help turn Nigeria\u2019s ethnic and religious diversity to strength, opportunities and wealth. John Dara is a former presidential aspirant under the platform of National Transformation Party (NTP) in the 2011 election.
