He is a strong advocate for the independence of the legislature. His legislative interests include tenancy, regulating monopolies, company law, and intellectual property. On June 9, 2015, Hon. Dogara was elected Speaker, House of Representative. Upon winning the contest, he introduced a legislative agenda for the Eighth House which would serve as its guiding document for a period of four years. Hon.
