Chief (Arch) Michael Ama Nnachi emerged winner of Ebonyi South PDP Senatorial primaries held on the 2nd October, 2018. He is very intelligent, vibrant, vocal and friendly. Chief Micky (as he fondly called) is a philanthropist with sound academic background. He will surely make great impacts in the 9th Senate.
\nSenator representing Ebonyi south senatorial district in the National Assembly, Chief Michael Ama Nnachi has assured the people of his constituency that he will not let them down as a lawmaker of the federal republic of Nigeria.<\/p>\n
Chief Nnachi made the vow in Abuja on Tuesday, June 11 during a reception to celebrate his inauguration as a senator.<\/p>\n
He stated that he will move and support quality laws, adding that he will continue to work hard until the people of his senatorial district enjoy the full dividends of democracy.<\/p>\n
His words: \u201cThose in attendance here are not just the people of Ebonyi south, but the entire Ebonyi state as evidenced by the presence of the deputy governor of our state and other stakeholders from the three senatorial zones of the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy brothers and sisters from Ebonyi south, I shall not let you people down. But lets also not forget that the main principal function of a lawmaker is lawmaking and not infrastructure.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou will see quality laws from me that will come better than physical infrastructure. I can assure you all that I will never sleep. I will continue to work and work until the people of Ebonyi south enjoys the full dividends of democracy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will also through my constituency projects provide those basic needs of life that will improve the well being of our people.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlso, as part of my policy of inclusiveness, I will be doing massive consultations. I will run to the governor, the deputy governor and stakeholders of Ebonyi south for advice when the need arises.<\/p>\n
