Presently the Chief Executive of Goldwater & Riversand Consults, Aliyu is also a Business Partner with Integrated Risks Solutions, a Business Security Risks Consultancy Firm in Nigeria, where he proffers enterprise- Environment and business-security-risk solutions for various Clients. Post military service years, Umar has worked in and held security job role Designations within a number of reputable corporate Entities across country, some of which are: The Dangote Industries Limited; Victoria Garden City Company Limited; British American Tobacco Nigeria, amongst others. While at Victoria Garden City, a foremost residential Estate on the Lekki Peninsula in Lagos, he headed the security services department, which administered estate and residential security needs of over 600 residential units, housing a cross section of high-net-worth persons from various nationalities. At British America Tobacco Nigeria, Umar was part of a Corporate and Industrial Security Team, which drove the successes of its parent company within the West African sub-region.
