From 1927, he went to Primary School Bida. 1930 to 1933 Niger Middle School and was at the famous Katsina Higher College from 1933 to 1936. He also had the Higher Elementary Certificate between 1936 and 1938 the Exeter University Preliminary Certificate and did a course in PublicAdministrationbetween 1951 and1954. Alhaji Ibrahim Tako started work as a Teacher in the Niger Middle School, Bida from 1938. After his course in 1955, he was made Councillor in charge of Local Government Centraland DistriaAdministration Education Development until 1959. Thatyearhe won election under the ruling NPCto the Federal Houseof Representatives representing Bida East. He was named later that year the Parliamentary Secretary, Lagos Affairs before moving to the Ministries of Pension and Defence. Earlier between 1956 and 1959, Alhaji Ibrahim Tako had to share his experience with the polity as memberofa number of Boards and Committees like the Northern Region Development Corporation, Provincial Education Committee, Liquor Board, Niger Provincial&#8217;AppointmentAdvisory Committee, Finance Committee Bida NA. He was also Chairman Establishment and Disciplinary Committee of Bida and DireaorArabs Transport and Northern TraOion Limited The Galadiman Bida also had time within his tight schedule for recreational activities. He was the Northern Representative of the National Councilof the Red Cross, agood horseman and cricketer. After the coup of 1966 that terminated their government andfollowing the creation of States,Alhaji Ibrahim Tako was named the North Western State Commissionerfor Health and Social Services in 1968 a position he served with deligence and sense of responsibilitytill1975 when the government was sacked ina coup d&#8217;tatthatyear.
