Born on October 3rd, 1939, at Zanguza village, Kano. Alhaji Musta pha had his early education at Zaria Islamiya Primary Schoolfrom 1949-55. He received his secondary educa tion at West African Collegiate School Freetown, from 1956-61 and later m 1961 he proceeded to Durham Univer sity England where he read and ob tained his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics in 1964. Alhaji Mustapha also atten ded Fourah BayCollege from 1968-71 and bagged diploma in Public Admini stration. He served at the Ado Bayero Uni versity Kano as an Assistant Registrar for two years &#8211; 1975-77. Late in 1977 he resigned his post as an Assistant Re gistrarand set up an Economic Consul tancy company in Kano. Alhaji Mohammed Mustapha who wears a pleasant look is described as PRP&#8217;s pillar in the House of Represen tatives. Married with five cliildren, and well travelled, Alhaji Mohammed&#8217;s hobby is traditional music.
