After his primary school education at St. Stephen&#8217;s School, Umuahia, he attended a series of seminars on business manage ment. Mr. Ariawa is a businessman. He owns Messrs A. 0. Ariawa and sons Bakery and Confectionary Industries, Umuahia. As a Community leader, Mr. Ariawa has been the Chairman of Abueke Town Development Union from 1977 to date. He played leading roles in the founding of Abueke Boys&#8217; Secondary School and Abueke Health Centre. He is patron of Etiti Recrea tion Club. Mr. Ariawa awarded a Uni versity scholarship to an Abueke son in America, a demonstration of his commitment to the welfare of his community.
