He was educated at St. Joseph&#8217;s School, Obube; St. Gregory&#8217;s College, Lagos, 1949.54; Wandsworth Technical Col lege, London, 1963-66; South-West London CoUege, 1966-70; Thames Polytechnic London, 1971-73. Mr Echeumunna holds B.Sc. Econs. de gree (University of London); Diploma in Marketing (London); O.N.D. Tele communications (British). He worked in the Ministry of Works, Stores De partment, Ijora, Lagos, as store-keeper 1954-59; branch manager, Nigeria Bre weries Ltd.; Iganmu, Apapa, 1959-63; assistant marketing manager, Marks and Spencer &#8211; Clapham Junction Branch, from 1973-75. He has also worked as a marketing executive in Standard Telephones and Cables Ltd., South-East. He was a marketing exe cutive in Communications Associates of Nigeria Limited, Lagos, tiU Feb ruary, 1979. He is married and has six children.
