He is an elected member from Burutu Federal Constituency. Prince Ogei obtained a B.A. (Hons) in Classics from the University of Ibadan in 1977. He is the current National Director-General of Ijaw Promotions Organisation (IPO). Prince Ogie devotes his spare time to the pro motion and propagation of Ijaw Cultural activities. He is married with four children.
