Obubra, Cross River State; became a paramount and 1st class chief in the then Eastern Region, 1954; member of the dissolved Eastern House of Chiefs, 1960-66; one of the three chiefs recognised by the former East Central State Government; president of the Community Council in his area; the Eze Aro is neither a Christian nor a Muslim and has no political inclinations \u2014 performs his traditional rites and is not op posed to religious practices; married to nine wives, he has ten surviving children; only the &#8220;Eze Oke Nnachi&#8221; compound produces rulers in Arochukwu.
