NyaknnoAbasi Osso is celebrated as a “wonder boy” because he rose from a remote village in Ikot Abasi, Akwaibom State, to become Nigeria’s preeminent archivist ,biographer, information and knowledge Management Expert, best Journalism Librarian and Documentalist.<\/p>\n

Without the internet, he became a “human search engine”, pioneering media librarianship and spearheading the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, the first of its kind in Africa.<\/p>\n

The “How” and “Why” Behind His Success<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u2022 Extreme Perseverance:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Born an only child after his mother lost seven previous children,all boys, he was named Nyaknnoabasi (“I leave this one in God’s hands”).<\/p>\n

Despite severe poverty and family opposition, he relentlessly pursued Library Science over medicine.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Vision & Organization:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Before digital search engines, he built the legendary library at Newswatch magazine.<\/p>\n

His defining ambition is to be remembered as “one of the most organised human beings on planet earth”.<\/p>\n

He created the award-winning “Newswatch Who’s Who in Nigeria”
\nand established the Biographical Legacy and Research Foundation to immortalize Nigerian Super- Achievers from 1861 to the present.<\/p>\n
