Emir of llorin; Born 1915; Education:.islamic education, 1922-29 - Elementary School, 1930, becoming head boy (Sarkin Makaranta) of the school in his final year, 1933; entered llorin Middle School (now llorin Government Secondary School) — came out with a middle four pass certificate; started his career as" llorin Native Authority assistant court registrar, June 1937; was promoted court registrar, 1944 and chief court registrar in-charge of the whole Emirate, 1951; attended judicial course at the Institute of Administration Zaria, 1955-56 — obtained First Class Certificate (Dip loma in Law); made inspector of Native Courts in addition to his post; appointed Emir of llorin, June 30, 1959; visited Britain, Paris and Rome August 1960; appointed Minister without portfolio, Oct. 1960 in the then Northern Region government, later became a member of the regional cabinet until January, 1966; was again appointed by the Military regime as a member of the Regional Cabinet and Council of Chiefs, February 1966;on creation ofstates,…
