ADEWUNMI, Hon. Gbadebo Adeyemi

Honourable Gbadebo Adewunmi, a member of the Unity Party of Nigeria representing Oshogbo South, Oyo State, in the House of Representatives, was born on the 27th November, 1933 at Oshogbo. He was educated at C.M.S. School, Ajagba, Ondo State (1938 - 1939); Olubi Memorial School, Ibadan (1940); C.M.S. School Okitipupa (1941 - 1942); M 6r A. School, IIutitun (1943 - 1945); Oluban School, Ibadan (1951 - 1952) and G.T.T.C. Ibadan, (1954 - 1955). He qualified as a lawyer in 1970and has been practising since 1971. Earlier in life, he was a teacher from 1956 — 1957, and an auditor from 1958 - 61. His late father, Mr. Jacob Adeoye Adewun mi, from Oshogbo was a trader. He had eight children. His late mother, Madam Rebecca OmowareAdewunmi, also a trader, hailed from Igosun, Offa, in Kwara State. He got married to former Miss Susannah Subulola Ladiran,. a nursing sister, in 1955.
