He was educated at the Ohafia Central School, Ohafia; Government CoUege, Umuahia; School ofPharmacy, Yaba, Lagos. He holds the diploma in pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist at the University CoUege Hospital. He worked as a pharmacist at the Univer sity CoUege Hospital, Ibadan, 1955-60; manager, Standard City Chemists, 1960-70. He is manager and director of Drug House Nigeria Limited, Aba. Elder Udo Igwe is an Elder of the Pres byterian Church of Nigeria. He is mar ried and has six children. His philo sophy is "Justice and fairplay.
