was bom in 1922 at Ubulu in Oru Local Government area; He atten ded St. Michael's Catholic School, Ozubulu in 1932; and St. Joseph's Catholic School, Umuna, Orlu, 1933- 36; He taught for a few years in the primary school and later joined the Army in 1941 as a schoolmaster. On discharge from the Army in June 1946, he entered the Civil Service on April 24, 1947 as a third class clerk; He ro.se to the rank of a principal executive officer before his retirement on December 31, 1977; His hobbies are farming and hunting; He is married and has eight children.
