He is married to Dr Mrs Uju Ifeoma Nwagwu. His advice to the Igbo Youths - "be industrious and cultivate the Spartan Spirit. You should strive always to protect the identity of the Igbo people and all NdiIgbo and Nigeria as a country ". To the Leaders, he says: "strive to protect the integrity of the Igbo people and leave worthy legacies for the succeeding generations of Igbo Sons and Daughters ".
