UGWUAKU, Barr. Fred A.

Mr. Fred A. Ugwuaku Anambra State Commissioner for Local Government, Rural Development and Chieftaincy Matters was born on May 28, 1940 and his home town is EnuguEzike in Igbo-Eze Local Government Area, He had his primary education at St. Mary's School, Enugu-Ezike where he did his standard six in 1954. From there, he gained admission to the Christ the King College (C.K.C.) nitsha where he had his West African School Certificate in 1959. He later studied law at the Univer sity of Nigeria and earned his LL.B (Hons) degree in 1973. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1974. Mr. Ugwuaku began his working experience as a second class clerk in the former East Central State Ministry of Health. One-time Chairman of the Igbo-Eze Local Government Council (1977-79), Mr. Ugwuaku is married with children.
