(NPP) was born in 1936 at Umuerem, Eluama, in Isuikwuato/Okigwe Local Go vernment Area. He attended B.C.M. School, Abonnema, 194348, St. Cyp rian's School, Port-Harcourt, 1949-50; Baptist High School, Port Harcourt 1950-55; University of Nigeria, Nsuk ka, 1963-66; Nigerian Law School, Lagos, 1970-71. He holds LL.B. and B.L. He was a staff of the Palm lines Agencies Limited, Port Harcourt, 1956-58; customs officer, 1959-63 and has been a private legal practi tioner since 1971. He is interested in reading and walking. He is mar ried. His philosophy is service to humanity.
